Making Fantasy Football Fun for Everyone
Fantasy Fantasy Football is guessing who the winning “fantasy” teams in a league for each week will be, mainly based on who you think takes fantasy football the most seriously.
Fantasy Fantasy Football makes you a part of the game without needing to know anything about football or how fantasy football works.
Fantasy Fantasy Football
Fantasy Football is a competition in which participants select imaginary teams from among football players in the NFL and score points according to the performance of their players.

Once you login, you will see each week with individual games that look like this.
A matchup consists of two teams and has helpful info like their team owners and record.
When you click on a team box, it selects that team as the one you picked to win.
In this example I chose "Griffy Groots" to win over "No Phly Zone."
The center between the teams then shows an option to set a "Win By" number that you are guessing how many points a team will win by between 0 and 50. In this case I'm guessing Griffy Groots will win by 17.
The bar below the teams can be helpful to show you what percentage of other FFF players have chosen which team. Clicking the bar expands to show which players picked which teams and what spread they predicted.
A completed week will consist of 3 to 6 games that have each been scored in blue and have a "Win By" number in the middle of each game. That's it, you are done picking a week.
Once the NFL games begin for a given week, selections will be locked and look like this and you can no longer make changes.
As the NFL games progress, you can check in to see the current scores and how you are doing with your selections.
Once all games for an NFL week are complete, final scores will be posted. In this example, I selected "Griffy Groots" and they won by 5.2 points. I predicted they would win by 17 so I receive 0.76 spread points.
If instead "No Phly Zone" had won the game but I had selected "Griffy Groots," my selection would be incorrect and received 0 points.
Once games have been scored, you can check the "Leaderboard" to see who is winning your Fantasy Fantasy Football league.
How To Play
Start With Random
No need to do research and spend a lot of time making selections, let our servers randomly select for you. It's like getting a bingo card for the season, but one that you can adjust if you see fit.
Currently the software interface is designed to have less than 50 people in an FFF League.
Currently this works off the ESPN fantasy football API to automatically import teams and results as they happen. This requires that the ESPN League Manager updates your ESPN fantasy league to make it public as explained here. This doesn’t make the league available for anyone to join, it just makes it visible online so that anyone could see the results of your games. Once your league is public, simply create your fantasy fantasy league using the ESPN League ID and then set a password to join so that only people you invite can join.
Fantasy football is typically isolated to the die hard football fans. This idea came from our software company at Showit where we have 10 teams but 32 employees so really only a third of our team cares about the fantasy league. However, adding another layer with fantasy fantasy football means everybody can play, including the ones in the fantasy league, and now the spotlight is shown more on the league and raises the stakes for everyone in the league to play their best since everyone in the company cares about every fantasy game now.
For each game you choose a winner and the amount you think they will win by between 0 and 50 points. If the team you select wins, you get 1 point. In addition, you also score a fraction of a point (decimal between 0 and 1) based on how close your guess for the “win by” is to the actual spread. Thus, in a 10 team fantasy football league, there would be 5 games and thus 5 possible points for selecting winners, and up to 5 more points to be awarded based on the spread for a total of 10 points.
Each week there are a number of matchups based on the number of teams in a fantasy football league, typically 8 to 12 teams. This would mean about 4 to 6 games are played each week and you try to guess who will be the winner of each of these games. In addition, you also set an amount to “win by” and the closer you are, the more you score.
In less than 1 minute per week you could set all of your picks. If you want to do some research on the teams, it could take more time but it’s definitely not required. You can also set up an entire season of selections in a few minutes before the season starts, then occasionally adjust picks if you feel like it. The “Random Picks” button lets you start with your whole season filled out like a random bingo card, then you can adjust the picks as you see fit.
It’s super simple and can be played by anyone who can click a mouse or touch a screen.
